Luke 8:22-39

January 29, 2017

In this study we see Jesus calm the storm on the Sea of Galilee and then cast out the legion of Demons from a man. In both miracles He is showing his power as Son of God and authority. The response from many is fear, except for the man who was possessed, who begged to join Jesus. You will be surprised at the response of Jesus, but listen to the end when Pastor Nathan explains what it means and how it relates to where we are in life.

This is the story of the woman who sat at Jesus feet weeping, and anointing His feet, while Jesus ate at the home of a Pharisee called Simon. His response and Jesus parable is a reminder of what forgiveness is about, and how pride can easily enter into our lives shutting out the forgiveness of God.
