Ecclesiastes 10:1-20

October 29, 2023

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan makes the statement: “Life is too short to be wasted on folly.” This section of Ecclesiastes is a collection of proverbs about folly. We are taught 5 characteristics of folly: 1 – it stinks, 2 – it is everywhere, 3 – it hurries, 4 – it speaks now and pays later and 5 – it disregards consequences. Pastor preaches that we were fools, (all of us at least at one time) but God saved us by His grace. So, we need to learn to hate folly and love wisdom. Listen in this week, as we look at how God saves us in our foolishness to become wise in the sermon series: Living Life Backward.
