Nehemiah 13:1-14

September 15, 2024

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks “What is God asking you to restart?” Pastor explains how God used Nehemiah to help restart the people of Jerusalem after they fell back into old, bad habits. Pastor preaches that God restarts with us. So restart with God: 1- Directed by His Word, 2 – Habits that are hard to start and easy to stop (influence, friends, tithing, etc), and 3 – Because God will remember. Nehemiah 10:28-39

September 1, 2024

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks “What is God calling you to change everyday?” In the book of Nehemiah, he helped rebuild the wall and then addressed the issues on the inside. In this passage, Nehemiah enforces the Covenant to obey the Word. Pastor Nate teaches that change can be difficult and we need God powered resilience to help us make changes. Pastor preaches that God calls us to be Jesus-different. So: 1- Who, or what, needs to go? 2 – Trust God enough to Sabbath (Sabbath is a gift, not a burden), and 3 – Invest in Jesus’ people (tithe). Giving is an act of trust and worship. Listen in this week to the sermon series on the book of Nehemiah: God Powered Resilience.
