Psalm 134

September 7, 2025

In this sermon series on The Psalms of Ascent, Pastor Nathan teaches that this is about a journey; the upward climb to Jerusalem. The upward way is not always smooth, but is sure and leads to the Lord. Psalm 134 points forward to the most happy ending in heaven with Christ. In this final sermon in this series, Pastor Nathan reads the Scripture and teaches: God blesses us so we should bless God. We were made to praise and honor God. So: 1 – Bless/praise the Lord by giving Him thanks, 2 – by posture with lifting hands in praise, 3 – this is a happy ending that leads to the ultimate happy ending in heaven. So: bless the Lord for the Lord has blessed us. Listen in to this message on happy endings from the sermon series: A Playlist for The Upward Way on The Psalms of Ascent.
