Pastor asks “Is it easier to serve or to be served?” Service is how we are equipped to impact like Jesus and is a mark of maturity and strength. Pastor read the Scripture passage about how Jesus washed His disciples feet and explained how Jesus served: – by washing feet, – by taking away our sins, – as an example. SO: 1-Ask Him to wash you, 2-Serve one another, 3-What will we do? Pastor Nathan reminds us that serving is a giving and receiving cycle. Jesus served first and then called us to follow. Core value: prayer

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan teaches about the core value of prayer. Pastor asks “Do you trust God’s heart?” Prayer is how we align our heart with God. Pastor read the Scripture passage and explained how 1 – the thorn was better than pride, 2 – sometimes no is better answer because God knows best, 3 – God-dependence is better than human dependence. SO: 1-Ask, 2-Trust, 3-Make peace. Pastor Nathan reminds us to trust the Father’s heart and to lean on Christ. The Mission Statement of FBC is: Multiply Followers of Jesus Christ.
