Matthew 8:1-17

December 3, 2023

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks: “What are you thankful for this Christmas?” In this series, we will “open” four Christmas gifts and the first gift is “taking”. In the passage, we read about 4 stories of healing. Pastor teaches that Jesus heals by taking. So we need to: 1- Go to Jesus, 2 – Bring them to Jesus, and 3 – Rejoice and give thanks. We are living between the Garden of Eden and heaven. God is waiting and we are waiting for Christ to return. He is giving us time to repent and witness to others. Listen in this week, as we look at the first gift of taking in the sermon series: Christmas Gifts.

Summary of Ecclesiastes

November 26, 2023

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks: “What did you learn from Ecclesiastes?” How have you lived in the past 106 days during this series? Ecclesiastes raises questions about what matters most in life. Pastor preaches that God will judge us, so: 1- Surrender (God is in control) 2 – Stop chasing the wind (don’t compare your life to others) and 3 – Enjoy the grind by giving thanks. God will judge us and give us the victory. Nothing you do for the Lord is in vain. Listen in this week, as we review the book of Ecclesiastes in the sermon series: Living Life Backward.

Ecclesiastes 8:1-17
