In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks “Am I real or fake?” Pastor reads the passage that includes the parable of weeds, the parable of the mustard seed and the parable of weeds explained. Pastor goes on to preach Jesus: 1 – will end this age, 2 – will burn look-alikes, 3 – died for us. So: Repent of “faking it” and really follow Jesus. In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks “How do we persist and not drift?” Pastor reads the passage that includes the parable of the sower and asks us to consider what type of “soil” we are (shallow? thorny? good?) Pastor goes on to preach: Jesus invites you to: 1 – persist in following Him, 2 – persist until you understand, 3 – persist past pain and distraction. Everyone has to decide to persist or not.
