Nathan Smith
SENIOR TEACHING PASTOR
Nathan has been at FBC Allegan since 2015. He graduated from Cornerstone University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Nathan enjoys hanging out with his wife and their four sons. You can usually find him watching his boys play sports or grilling large quantities of meat.
Brendon Bayley
Director of Student and Family Ministries
Brendon joined the church staff in 2019. He is a graduate of Cedarville University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology. He and his wife Sarah have been married since 2008, and have 3 wonderful children. They enjoy traveling up north as a family. He has a great love for the outdoors and you will likely find him hiking, camping or working in his yard. He’d be happy to join you for a cup of coffee, or to cut firewood.
Cheyenne Smith
Director of Congregational Worship
Cheyenne joined the FBC staff in February of 2022. She and Nathan have been married since 1999 and have four boys. Cheyenne graduated from Cornerstone University with a degree in Secondary Education. Her passions include: drinking a good cup of coffee, reading all the books, and watching her boys in a plethora of sporting events!
Becky VerHoeven
Executive Secretary
Becky and Keith have been married for 26 years. They are both Michigan natives but met in Kentucky as missionaries, got married and moved back to Michigan. Becky is a graduate of Cornerstone University and enjoys spending time with family, watching birds and waterfalls.
Robin Bacon
Ministry Assistant
Robin has served at FBC as the Ministry Assistant since July 2006. Robin has a marketing degree and has taken several classes in textile/apparel technology. Robin enjoys spending time with her family, writing, travel, shopping, reading, collecting quotes, designing and selling crafts at arts & crafts shows, and helping her daughter with marketing her books.
