In this sermon, Pastor Nathan asks “What did Jesus teach about purity?” Purity is a focus, heart condition. How do we get a pure heart? Pastor reads the Scripture passage and teaches that words reveal and impact your heart; words are the biggest problem to solve. So: 1 – Ask God for a new heart, 2 – Guard your heart, 3 – Give thanks. Make thanksgiving a habit as it helps us focus on Him. Pastor also teaches that the #1 way to guard your heart is to play attention to what you listen to (music, news, talk, etc) because it plays into what you speak.
